The detail
For the opening of a new run of Steven Sondheim's 1970 musical theatre piece, Assasins, at the Crucible in Sheffield, a new stage was constructed which incorporated over 20 television screens. I was asked to provide animated material for these screens. Art Directed by Yeast Culture, the visuals were designed to be operated by the show's lighting technician. The work was devised to sychronise with the script, and so act as part of a dynamic scenery design.
