The detail

I devised Eudaimonia with Blind Ditch as a durational event for a variety of spaces and occasions. The piece can be varied in length and performed for audiences of up to 100 at a time.

The audience walks around a circular set up with four TVs connected to video cameras and two video projectors above. Cameras and TV screens are facing the centre. As the performers step into the inner circle, their movements generate an electro-acoustic feedback which in turn informs their movements. Spinning words of hope, desire, doubt and prayer trace across their bodies, triggered by a software that responds to the alterations of sound.
