The detail

It's found on every school staff room table in the UK. Working within a team of visual and other user experience designers LBi, I detailed the redesign of the architecture and experience of he UK's most widely read educational periodical.

The new site was required to ramp up its social functionality which required some deep thinking into how best to serve the different types of people who would use the site. To help with this process, a series of user interviews were conducted to help the design team understand the mental models of the educational professionals they were designing for.

I produced a number of sketched and wireframed user journeys, and a site architecture, drafted in parallel. This seeding work allowed the visual design and development teams to build and roll out the rest of the site.
